For our Bully Studio in Chisinau, we're looking for an experienced IT Support Administrator who will be responsible for managing and maintaining internal IT structure (hardware, computer systems, networks and peripherals), ensuring optimal performance, timely trouble-shooting, security, and support for all users. The right candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software, managing network servers, and ensuring all systems are up-to-date and operating smoothly.
You will provide technical support to teams, resolving any IT-related issues quickly and efficiently. To do that, you are expected to demonstrate strong IT support skills, a keen eye for detail, and the analytical skills to identify potential issues. You must also maintain your knowledge about new technology trends and be able to work with a variety of technologies and systems.
You have excellent communication skills and a ‘can-do’ attitude, a proactive and trustworthy approach in executing your daily tasks and a strong team ethic to help build and maintain a positive environment. You will be expected to act with a high level of autonomy and critical thinking as well as to tackle challenges with confidence and ownership.
Another important component where an IT Support Administrator is expected to be involved is Project Deployment support (around 20-25% of total scope), which involves tracking and managing hardware and software deployments of all real-time immersive experiences and products we create for our customers. Within this role responsibility you will work with cross-discipline teams of artists, designers, modellers, and animators, as well as creative project and account managers, to implement out-of-the-box creative solutions that often involve certain challenges related to cutting edge technologies.
Responsibilities
- IT SUPPORT ADMIN area:
- PROJECT DEPLOYMENT area:
- Procure, maintain, and administer computers and office equipment; install, configure, and maintain servers (physical or virtual) based on organizational requirements.
- Analyze project and installation requirements.
- Install, maintain and administer software systems and licenses, including updates and upkeep. Administer user permissions, rights, passwords.
- Determine the type of hardware required (servers, networking, PC's, peripheral equipment etc.) based on project requirements.
- Manage internal data (data migration, retention, backup).
- Analyze data traffic, processing power, storage, and memory requirements to ensure the hardware can handle projected workloads.
- Maintain company website.
- Develop and maintain documentation for the setup, including configuration steps, hardware layouts, software installations, and troubleshooting guides.
- Suggest and implement improvements in system usage policies and procedures. Maintain/check security policies and documentation.
- Work with production and Dev Teams, PM and QA to set up and verify test setups to proactively ensure successful deployments.
- Drive annual IT needs’ budgeting process and develop plans for office equipment (servers and workstations); coordinate regular IT assets inventory;
- Capture and analyze incidents, review and adjustments, to ensure the setup meets all project requirements and is fully operational.
- Assist with new staff onboarding. Consult and guide company staff on IT policies, systems, hardware and software. Identify IT related issues, resolve ad-hoc issues and urgent requests.
- Coordinate venue IT support, installation, debug, realtime (when physical presence is necessary).
Minimum Qualifications
- 3-5 years of database, network administration, or system administration experience.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools.
- Strong Linux and it’s file systems knowledge, especially CLI (TUI) interfaces
- Advanced understanding of Plesk panel
- Strong RAID array skills (both software and hardware)
- AWS knowledge will be a huge advantage
- Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols, including Apache, nginx, named, etc.
- Strong understanding of efficient internal IT support helpdesk operations, best practices, including strong knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.
