Working with PBS Digital Innovation and PBSKids teams, bully! set out to make birthday wishes come true by developing an interactive, customizable WebAR Birthday Card.

Via a lead capture form, a parent or guardian can choose to customize the experience with their child’s name and a choice of PBS characters.

Transforming birthdays into shareable experiences

Share and store a virtual celebration with PBS

The initial proof of concept is themed around the Wild Kratts franchise and is designed to be customized with additional PBS properties so every kid can celebrate their big day with their favorite characters. The WebAR application provides the opportunity to personalize a virtual celebration with an integrated photo. From a hamburger menu, celebrators can learn more about PBS programs, and share the microsite with other parents.
