WebAR delivers a Jurassic-sized social splash

bully! partnered with PBS & BBC to create an interactive WebAR experience that brings life-sized dinosaurs—T. Rex and Triceratops—into anyone’s space, letting fans pose, capture, and share their encounters instantly.

The experience debuted at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, then rolled out nationally with the global premiere through broadcast bumpers, social sharing, and a year-long editorial push on PBS.org.

To make life-size dinosaurs feel real anywhere, we started with cinema-ready assets and rebuilt them for the web — optimizing, texturing, rigging, and animating each creature inside an 8th Wall–enabled WebAR scene.

The result was a seamless, no-download activation that ran instantly on smartphones and tablets that enabled everyday spaces to become Jurassic stages, and the premiere to become a shared, unforgettable experience.
