WebAR mural drives engagement at Workday Rising

bully! entertainment worked with a large consulting company to design an interactive mural experience that would capture attention in the middle of a crowded conference floor. The original activation debuted at Workday Rising, where an 11-foot mural became the centerpiece of a large booth installation.

Inspired by a playful Where’s Waldo–style visual approach, the mural was paired with WebAR interactions that encouraged attendees to scan and explore hidden moments throughout the artwork. Each discovery revealed solutions tied to real-world business challenges, turning passive booth visitors into active participants.

The experience extended beyond the mural itself. Kiosks placed throughout the booth were connected to the artwork through visual rail lines, guiding attendees from characters and scenes within the mural directly to deeper information on the company’s website. The result was an engaging blend of storytelling, exploration, and product education that kept attendees circulating through the space.

The 10x10 That Turned Heads

The company approached bully! with a new challenge: bring the same engaging concept to the 2025 Gartner CFO Conference, this time within the constraints of a standard 10x10 turnkey booth. Rather than starting from scratch, bully! re-engineered the original mural experience—rescaling the artwork to fit the smaller footprint while introducing new storylines tailored to CFO audiences. To expand the experience beyond the booth, QR-powered floor decals guided attendees across the exhibit floor, pulling traffic toward the activation and making every step part of the narrative.

By leveraging existing creative materials while evolving the interactive storytelling, bully! helped the consulting firm maximize its sponsorship footprint and communicate complex solutions in a way that felt playful, memorable, and approachable. Partners and attendees alike praised the activation as an innovative way to spark curiosity and open deeper conversations.
